Martin Luther king, otherwise known as Michael king jr was born on 15 january 1929. he was known for being a civil rights activist who fought for freedom he wanted the world to have peace so he gave a speech that changed everything quote “ I have a dream that one day every valley shall be engulfed, every hill shall be exalted and every mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plains and the crooked places will be made straight and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together. This is our hope.” but unfortunately his dream didn’t come true because sadly he got assassinated on 4 april 1968. 

What was life like in  Martin Luther Kings time?

Martin Luther king had a happy upbringing but segregation in the world was terrible white people had more power than african americans and there were even schools for just black and white kids and there were also way more racism going around then there is now .

What did Martin Luther King do? Martin luther king made a civil rights protest by making a team of people who wanted to end racism and segregation. he gave out speeches and more so he could gather more and more people. He needed to have enough protesters that could change america for the great or good. soon enough after about 5-8 years of protesting he got assassinated.   

How did Martin Luther King make a difference? Made a difference by stopping some racism and segregation laws. He convinced lots of people to protest.

Conclusion: martin luther king is one of the best civil rights protesters in the world

there are 4 people in sams family the sum of their ages is 73 sam's father is 3 years older than his mother. sams sister is 2 years younger than him. but 4 year ago the sum of the ages of everyone in sam's family was 58.

how old is each of them now 

sams dad is 34

sams mum is 31

sam is 5 

sams sister is 3 

34 + 31 + 5 + 3=73

but 4 years ago there age amounted to 58 

sam dad is 30

sams mum is 27

sam is 1

so the answer is 30 + 27 + 1 = 58

The Battle of the Shark and the Octopus

 the battle of the shark and the octopus in the old ages of mankind there lived taukau he could transform into a shark and he was one of the reef guardians who protected the reef as well he was brave strong and fear less but he was to prideful of himself and that's what would be his downfall he went around to all. The other reefs and harming the other reef guardians for there place he showed to much pride on being strong but then that's when suva one of the gods of the reef he could transform into an octopus he did not like the way takuaka was treating the other gods so they had a duel the battle made fierce waves. Blowing all of the tree's down suva had enough so grabbed taukau with his tentacles and it taukau realised the power gap between them and that's when taukau gave up and swore never to harm anyone again.

Today are celebrating life, being at school, being alive being well. we also have mufti and wacky hair day on today i like that we can also were clothes that make us feel comfortable. Because of mufti and wear wacky hair today it is also pretty fun as well i couldn’t do anything  but i see everyone else is doing. Something with there hair and there is one more thing we all get a mystery treat i think its a cake some people think its a Popsicle others also think brownies.

what would i do if i found $50

 What would I do if I found $50?

• What is the right thing to do?

                   What is the right thing to do?

If I found $50 in a situation where I saw someone drop it then the right thing to do is give it back but if it's a different scenario where I just saw $50 on the ground then I'd keep it because what if in the situation I needed it for food or maybe I'm saving up or if i didn’t pick the $50 up maybe someone else would there’s so many scenarios that could occur at that moment.

                           The consequences

If I saw someone drop $50 then i’d give it back and then there would be no consequences but if I found $50 on the floor then I'd keep it’ and there might be a chance of me getting consequences. I might drop the $50 and it goes flying away (karma) could be the first consequence. But if the $50 didn’t fly away then it probably would get stolen out of my pocket is the second consequence.  

Does the way I find it change what I would do? How? Why?

If i walking down the road to go to the shop and i found a bag and i didn’t know what was in it and there were people watching me than i wouldn’t search it but if there was know one watching me than i would probably search it and if it had money 10’000$ in it than i’d and run back to my house the reason why is because i need it to invest into buying shares than maybe i’d become rich that's what i would d

Today we made a sphagetti tower the materials that we had to use were tape wool and sphagetti the objective was to make the tallest tower and we did,our tower was 96 and a half centimeters the activity was supossed to learn how we cooperate with each other as a group the person who helped out the most was paschal and me,the name of our tower was leaning tower of sphagetti.

-maori new year celebrating?maori new years happens while nearing july 2 and ends nearing july 13 this event is also known as matariki many people in new zealand are aware of this celebration many people don't celebrate this because they either don't have the time or just don't want to i don't care because thats other people's decision not mine.

-should we celebrate this? the matariki stars showed when the maori new years were the taking place sometimes people can't see the stars and it is considerd to be bad luck in maori culture sometimes the star's dont even show because of the whether or you. Just can't see them but if you can see the stars you don't get good luck either i think there also activity's happening in community's but since. I've grown out of this so i think if you haven't went to this event you should so yes i think you should go to this event

once upon a time there was a forest filled with wonderful things but then 200


years later it grew big and sort of weird like the year was 2500. There was a man who wanted to explore the big forest, His name was Cube He was one of the best explorers in the world. He once captured a lion, how cool is that besides that back to the story then off he was to go explore the big jungle. But when he entered he couldn’t believe what he saw it was a big gigantic tiger and he was about to quit until .




The moment he built up his courage and ran right outside he said. I'm a failure if i can’t fight a gigantic tiger then i don’t deserve to be an explorer so he sat at his house drinking juice and lemonade he got some calls from his friends and they encouraged him to get back on his feet and so he did, A few months later he went back to the jungle .

The battle: he had a big water gun (we do not condone the use of real guns) he looked the tiger right into his eye and said i am the best explorer ever you dumb cat and then shot him in the eye the cat was not happy and charged after cube, that's when cube felt so scared that he was about to oh no he did pee his pants the cat jumped up and saw cube and when he was about to eat him a lion came and pushed the tiger onto a big rock the tiger hit his head on the rock and then he was out cold the lion wanted to help humans and protect them so cube kept the lion and they fought giant animals together.


The future: fast forward two years later and cubes lion is taking some of his final breaths the reason why is because when cube found him he was 12 years old so now that it's been 2 years the lion is at it’s passing age cube was sad that he couldn’t control his emotions so on that day that he packed up his stuff went back to the forest to go get a cup of water from the tree of life he said to the lion don’t worry i’ll heal you so just stay alive for me ok, lion was so happy to hear that. (The tree of life isn’t real so please do not try to find it)





The past: Well cube was walking thru the jungle he remembered the first time he met the lion and started crying but he still was walking thru the jungle until yes he sees the tiger he met two years ago but this time cube had an idea it was 50/50 chance of it working but he tried he grabbed lots and lots of leaves of the trees around him and used some blood from the tree’s also known as Pterocarpus angolensis its sticky and it’s also sort of like glue so this was his plan.




The plan:he was using the leaves and tree blood to make a boulder look like a bush so then when the tiger comes, cube can drop the boulder on his head causing him to get knocked out so then the third thing he needed was a rope to tie onto a stable tree to be continued...

My lockdown experience

Today we made a chart about what we did during lockdown some of us spent more time with family some of us baked.

The main thing i liked about lockdown was cooking playing board games and just being lazy and watching netflix.
